Air layering propagation balls are a simple and effective tool for cloning plants directly from their branches. Designed to encourage root growth while still attached to the parent plant, these reusable plastic shells create a controlled environment for propagation.

Using them is easy—just fill the ball with moist soil or sphagnum moss, secure it around a healthy branch, and let nature do the rest. Over time, roots will develop inside the ball, and once they’re well-established, you can cut the new plant from the parent and transplant it.

These propagation balls work well for a variety of plants, including fruit trees, shrubs, and ornamentals. They’re a great option for gardeners looking to expand their collection without relying on seeds or cuttings. Plus, since the new plant already has roots when separated, it has a better chance of thriving.

About: For generations, my family grew and sold fruits and vegetables in Florida, but I took a different path and chose a career in the Arts. While I love my career, the desire for a garden has always been strong. In 2023, my hub and I finally purchased a house where this desire could become a reality.

In this channel, I want to document and share my experiments, successes, failures, and my journey as I get back to my roots in an urban environment. My goal is to create a visually appealing yard that ties my background in art with a productive and inviting space.
